Are you there? Buck and I hiked up to LeConte twice (Alum Cave Trail, short and breathtakingly steep). The first time we spent three nights up there. Buck took pictures of me washing my hair under one of those old-fashioned water pumps. I told him “Don’t take my picture!” So we also have a picture of me pointing at him with a particular finger when he snapped the shot. Scandalizes the grandkids. What a gorgeous place in the world.
